1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using the Bondly mobile application or website (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.
We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years of age to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this age requirement. If you are under 18, you represent that you have obtained parental or guardian consent.
3. Your Account
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to notify us immediately at support@bondlyapp.com if you suspect any unauthorized use of your account.
You may not create more than one account, share your account with others, or use another person's account without permission.
4. Partner Pairing
The Service is designed for use between two consenting adults in a romantic relationship. By pairing with a partner, you consent to sharing certain content (challenge completions, quiz answers, reveals) with that person. You are responsible for ensuring you have appropriate consent from your partner before pairing.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms.
- Upload content that is harmful, abusive, harassing, defamatory, obscene, or invasive of another's privacy.
- Impersonate any person or entity.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Service.
- Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) to access or interact with the Service.
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers.
6. User Content
You retain ownership of content you submit ("User Content"). By uploading User Content, you grant Bondly a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to store, process, and display that content solely as necessary to operate the Service (e.g., sharing proof photos with your paired partner).
We do not use your personal User Content for advertising or sell it to third parties.
7. Subscriptions and Payments
Certain features of the Service require a paid subscription. Payments are processed through Apple In-App Purchase. Subscription fees are billed in advance on a recurring basis (monthly or annually, as selected).
Refunds are governed by Apple's refund policy. You may cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
8. Intellectual Property
All content, features, and functionality of the Service — including but not limited to software, design, text, graphics, and logos — are owned by Bondly or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws.
You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes only.
9. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.
Bondly is not a licensed therapy or counseling service. The challenges and content provided are for entertainment and relationship enrichment purposes only and should not be treated as professional relationship advice.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Bondly shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim, or $10, whichever is greater.
11. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at our discretion if you violate these Terms. You may also delete your account at any time through the app settings. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.
12. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Bondly operates, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction.
